From Ukraine With Love

We are so glad to be a part of the ministry of OPERATION LAZARUS and to see how God is doing great things through us in the lives of teenage orphans. God is so good and He is able all the time! He is giving us strength and wisdom and His love to reach out to these special kids!!!

Everything started at orphan summer camp in Gorney where we arrived as part of the 3rd missions team. It was an amazing time to fellowship and to begin to get to know the kids on a very personal basis. They opened their hearts and lives to us. Actually they became a part of our life! Not one day has past now without at least one of the kids calling us. It is so good that they know that someone loves them and can help or talk with them if needed.

Nothing could be better than to be in the will of God and to do His commandments. All these kids - whether they are 14 or 20 years old - they want to be loved and to have somebody they can rely on or trust to share their problems and cares. And when we are doing it, we see how God touches their life and changes their understanding. They know that they are not alone anymore, and they no longer think that God doesn’t love them.. Now they can see the power of change in their lives because Christ is in them!!! And we are carrying His love to all the kids and believe that God will do even greater things through us!
